HokoMe Copyright & Takedown Process

How to raise a copyright, trade mark or other intellectual-property concern on HokoMe.

Current version: 2 September 2026

Respect others’ rights

Only post content you own or have permission to use. This includes photos, videos, listing descriptions, trade marks, logos and product information. Do not use another person’s brand or content in a way that is misleading or infringes their rights.

Making a report

To report suspected infringement, contact HokoMe support and include the listing link, the material you believe infringes your rights, a clear explanation of your rights, your contact details, and any supporting information that will help us assess the report.

Only make a report in good faith. Do not use this process to harass competitors or remove lawful content you do not own.

What happens next

We may ask for more information, contact the person who posted the material, limit or remove the content, preserve relevant records, or take other reasonable steps. We may not be able to decide complex ownership disputes and may ask the parties to resolve the matter directly or through an appropriate formal process.

A person affected by a report can provide a response with relevant evidence. HokoMe may restore, keep restricted or permanently remove content after considering the information available and its legal and safety obligations.

Repeated or serious breaches

HokoMe may warn, restrict, suspend or close accounts involved in repeated or serious intellectual-property breaches, taking account of the context and information available.
