When these terms apply
These Property Terms apply in addition to the HokoMe Terms of Use and Marketplace Rules when you browse, enquire about, create or manage a Property listing.
Property listings and relistings are currently free through 11:59pm NZST on 27 November 2026. Any future fee or condition will be shown before you choose to publish.
Listing responsibility
The person or business posting a Property listing is responsible for having authority to do so and for ensuring the listing is accurate, current and not misleading. This includes the address, price or sale method, availability, property details, photos, video, disclosures and contact information.
Keep a listing current and remove or update it promptly when key information changes. Do not post a listing that is unavailable, misleading, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful.
Do your own checks
Property information is supplied for advertising and discovery. It is not a valuation, building report, legal opinion, lending decision, insurance advice, title check, school-zone confirmation, flood assessment, tenancy decision, or binding offer.
Before making a decision, inspect the property and obtain the professional, legal, financial, building, tenancy or other advice you need. Confirm any information that matters to you with the relevant owner, agent, landlord, property manager or authority.
Enquiries and fair conduct
Use Property enquiries respectfully and only for genuine property purposes. Do not ask for unnecessary sensitive information, pressure another person to pay, discriminate unlawfully, or use the service to harass, mislead or collect personal data.
HokoMe may review, limit or remove Property content or access where reasonably necessary to apply these terms, the Marketplace Rules or the law.
